
About the Course
Chair Chi is a gentle exercise program developed by Pat Griffith to help people receive the benefits of the traditional Tai Chi Chuan in the comfort and safety of their chair. This allows people who cannot stand or lack confidence with their balance (walker, wheelchair, and movement disorder) to participate and benefit. Those benefits include balance, flexibility, range of motion, strength, energy, pain relief, tranquility, stress reduction, and peace of mind.
Chair Chi is currently in 30 states and Canada with approximately 4,100 instructors including Activity Directors, Physical, Occupational, Recreational and Massage Therapists, Doctors, Nurses, Personal Trainers and Managers of Senior Living Facilities.

Pat Griffith
Pat Griffith is a certified Tai Chi Chuan instructor and founder of Chair Chi. He has been teaching at health clubs, senior and wellness centers and senior living communities since 1997. He has taught local, state, national and international seminars and demonstrations since 2010.
